A Texas lawyer charged in an unusual felony barratry case is now facing a new charge for allegedly planning to eliminate a witness in the case.

Paul Andrews, 57, was arrested Wednesday in Corpus Christi, according to KSAT and the San Antonio Express-News. If convicted of criminal solicitation of capital murder, he could get from five to 95 years in prison.

An informant who said Andrews discussed the claimed plot with him tipped off Bexar County authorities.
The articles don't include any comment from Andrews or his legal counsel.
